Notice how the darker background makes the skin colors appear much paler...now to re-adjust! I prefer to establish the background early on, but wasn't sure what I wanted.

After making some drawing corrections, I added a warm grey scumble to the entire painting to unify it. After this dries, I will re-work all the key areas, creating the foundation for the finishing touches.
